Waterfront Brewery The same owner as The Porch and The Other Side recently opened The Waterfront Brewery inside a former grocery store covered in Wyland murals and overlooking the Historic Seaport. Green Parrot The Green Parrot is one of Key West’s most iconic and beloved bars. Found on Southard Street just a block off Duval, it’s a brooding biker bar meets tropical oasis. The walls are covered with psychedelic posters and Key West mementos. Order a cold beer and a round of root beer barrels, their proprietary shot made with root beer schnapps and Miller Light, and find your place on the dance floor. The landmark also serves up live music, billiards, darts and free freshly popped popcorn.

Chart Room at the Pier House You have to know what you’re looking for to find the Chart Room. This tiny dive bar found at the Pier House Resort is one of Key West’s oldest and saltiest dives. The walls are lined with nautical flags and old photographs and the décor ranges from model ships to old barrels. Order a stiff drink and make yourself at home at this bar where not only popcorn, but also peanuts and hotdogs are free. Point Five For a sophisticated cocktail, head upstairs to Point Five located above the popular Nine One Five restaurant. This speakeasy-style bar is cozy and romantic with polished wood-paneled walls and a wraparound balcony overlooking Duval Street. Great selections of wine and smart cocktails are available, perfect for a relaxing night out with good company. Blue Heaven Located in the heart of Key West’s Bahama Village, Blue Heaven is a classic island establishment. Famous for its brunch and laid-back ambiance, it also has a great outdoor bar in its own right perfect for idling away the afternoon or evening. With an expansive backyard that features live music, chickens roaming freely and a ping pong table, it’s a lovely, ramshackle place perfect for sipping a Bloody Mary or a spiked lemonade.
